Plexamp doesn't work but Plex works on remote access

It’s odd that this is a prevalent issue and has consistently been ignore by the support folks here?

Plex and Plexamp for iOS no longer uses "Custom server access URLs"

Server Version#: 1.40.0.7775 Player Version#: 1.83.1.4061-d3f45728 iOS/iPadOS: 17.2.1 Plexamp and Plex for iOS have recently stopped being able to connect back to my Plex server over tailscale. I can access the server and all the ports/service in Safari, but none of the Plex apps can connect on iOS. iOS Plex and Plexamp Apps Can't Connect to Server Remotely

Plex over Tailscale

I have no problems at at all using iOS Plex and iOS Plexamp on the road through Tailscale. I can‘t remember doing some esoteric settings or installing third party tools to make this happen, it worked out of the box. This should be a good message — it will work. Somehow… What are your network settings in Plex Server? Do you allow external access?
