Plexamp Download bitrate

Being able to download playlists from Plex is great for the times when there is no network to stream on, or when not wanting to use your data on your phone.

Is there any way that the bitrate option can be added to allow for MAX (original quality) download?
I believe the highest rate there is now is 320bps. It would be nice to have original recording to be downloaded (copied to) phone (in my case iphone with 256gb storage).

Plexamp is the MAIN reason I am subscribing to Plex but, I can hear the difference between the streamed content which is Max to the downloaded which is not. The depth is gone.

In Plexamp, under Settings > Downloads > Quality, you can pick “Maximum”, which equates to “Never convert unless unsupported format”. That option should do the trick for you :slight_smile:
