I love plexamp when it works. Running plexamp on a Moto G. Eventually it will fail to connect to my music library. If I delete the app and re-install then it starts working again.
post some logs when it fails. i’ve never heard of this issue before, more likely it’s a sporadic network issue or server publishing related thing.
OK, I will turn on the log, but I do not believe it is a server error. I believe it is something going wrong with the plexamp app itself. I have sonos speakers and also several alexa devices. These will play music and work fine even though the plexamp has stopped working.
please post plexamp logs when it fails.
It appears the plexamp app is failing to connect to my server. This happened again yesterday, but there is no plexamp log on the system. I have a Sonos system and that was able to find the server and play music at the time the plexamp was not functioning. I didn’t make any changes or adjustments and eventually the Plexamp is now working again. I also notice that when I log onto the Plex server it fails to connect to my libraries for a period of time. If I wait long enough it will eventually connect. Any ideas why ?
please post plexamp logs.

OK, I misunderstood where the logs were. Attached plexamp log.

If this is the timeframe, then it appears that the phone has trouble connecting to your server IP(s):

If the LAN isn’t working, it’s potentially a double NAT issue where maybe you’re crossing onto another network segment.
That wouldn’t be a big deal except that you don’t appear to have remote access enabled.
Fix one or both of those issues and you’re golden.
Thanks, that gives me something to check. I was sure it had something to do with the connection.
