Been trying to rate every song I have. So I have a playlist of all unrated music that I randomize. I hit random, song starts to play I rate it. But when I look at the “back to” section the rating is lost and I have to re-rate it. I don’t believe it’s ever not forgotten the rating. Once the first song is played all other songs keep their ratings and it works as intended.
Hmm, is that consistently reproducible?
If so, restart playback, do a rating, and then share logs in here.
Finally got a chance to sit down and test things. Good news, I can’t reproduce it, So I assume one of the updates fixed something. Or its not happening as often as I originally thought.
I often play music while at work and am not able to grab logs immediately. If I notice it there I’ll try and remember to grab the logs when I get home.
While testing however I was able to reproduce a display bug within Plexamp. It kept the rating, but wouldn’t show it on the playing screen.
Play more than 1 song, Rate the current song (2) and go back to the previous song (1), then go back to that song (2), the rating will be gone, skip the song (2) and you’ll notice in the Back To section it still has the rating.
thanks for testing! agreed there is a display issue, we don’t keep it the rating in sync all over the place for display as it’s a bit tricky.
