Hello there. I have found that if a title contains a bracket, it does not display the song title within the plexamp desktop player. The title will just not show at all and only display the artist and album title.
Note, I have discovered more albums that do not display title information. If I view the same album within the Plex web app, the information is current and shows properly. However, it does not report to third party applications properly, such as tautulli or the Plex Dashboard.
open up the track editor in plex web and see if it has a blank title but a sort title. could be bad tags.
Looks like that was the exact issue. Not sure why I didn’t check it before posting. Ran a refresh metadata and it filled in the tags appropriately on the affected albums.
