Plexamp iOS downloaded music issues

Hey! So I’ve been absolutely in love with the Plexamp app for iOS and have made it my daily driver for playing my music collection at this point. Its feature set and beautiful design are just fantastic. My main issue which might not be an issue for most is that it appears Plexamp does not recognize that you have already downloaded your music to the device when trying to use a playlist. It always defaults to streaming, and in cases where you’re offline the playlists simply won’t exist. Even if you make the playlist in-app with downloaded music it will always attempt to stream the music instead unless the song is played directly from the downloads tab, which is quite clunky. The only option seems to be that you have to download the playlist and take up double the storage space for each song. I’ve attempted to download a playlist to see maybe it would just recognize the music on the device already but it seems to want to download everything again.

Sorry for the super long write-up, this issue is oddly specific and I wanted to make sure to put down anything that could be helpful. This is the only problem I’ve come across personally, everything else is on point!

Thanks so much for the kind words! In the next release we’ll use downloaded media even if you’re streaming (with a preference). So if you download a playlist and then stream it, we’ll use the downloaded media. And if you download an album and one of the tracks appears in a playlist, we’ll use the downloaded version.

Hopefully that addresses the issue
