Plexamp iOS won't play downloaded media and always streams

Hello,

When using plexamp 3.7.1 on my iphone running iOS 14.7.1, selecting music from my library will always default to streaming the music from my server through the opus codec, even though i have the FLAC file downloaded to my phone, and have the setting Downloads > Prefer Downloaded Media > Always and Quality on Maximum. I can play the files from my download list, but would like to be able to select the music from my main library so i don’t have to find music based on order i downloaded it.

Am I misunderstanding the settings, or is there something wrong?

I apologize, there was a bug in the app on macOS and iOS which broke “prefer downloaded media”. It’ll be fixed in the next release.

Glad to hear… I should have said something sooner because you could tell it wasn’t work just right when you could see the buffer bar move up slow when you clicked on something you knew was already downloaded. If you went into downloads and clicked it there it was instant… but if you got to it another way, it would buffer.

Thanks for letting us know it will be fixed in the next release.
