Plexamp (iOS) worked until it became a blank screen

Hi Plex,

I love Plexamp app that I’ve recently discovered for my iPhone. Installed it last week and listened to lots of great music with awesome UI (props to you all).

Unfortunately at some point I clicked on an album or track that has no textual information in it (artist, title, etc were all blank) - I’m thinking it may’ve been because of some special chars in metadata. It played the selection for me, but with screen completely blank (and some dark-brown color). Ever since then, that blank screen is all I see when I launch Plexamp app. I’ve tried re-installing the app, removing all music libraries from my Plex server, deleting (what I think was) music with bad metadata, but no matter what I do, I get blank screen the moment I sign in to Plexamp.

Any ideas on how to reset it? I’m sure it’s storing some state on server side.

Fascinating, any chance you can DM me with some more information? Can you reproduce the issue on desktop, by any chance?
If so, would love a Plexamp.log file from your desktop run.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Elan.

To provide more info, I’ve recorded a screen capture from my phone to show what it looks like:

Same issue happens on desktop (OS X) - first time I’m using the app. Here’s logs:

I’ve also tried updating PMS to latest version but unfortunately that didn’t help either.

Mind if I invite you into Slack so we can work on this realtime? If not, what email?

Slack works for me, happy to assist.

Just found the issue :grimacing:
