I have some recently loaded music that I can play from the regular Plex interface on my Mac, but Plexamp is showing them as unavailable. Wondering how I can fix this. My first thought was just to delete them from the server and then re-add them.
Couple things that you might want to check.
In Plexamp at the top left. Are you on the correct server and profile? So in Plexamp go to the settings gear at the far right at the bottom. Tap/click there and Check the account and check the source. Be sure to have the correct ones there.
Also if you are using a profile other than your own, you might want to check the server to see if the library is shared with the profile or not.
There may be other things going on. But might need a bit more detail to figure out.
Ok, I failed to mention that I just finished a migration to a new Mac and somehow a new Plex source was created. After I selected that, everything, so far, appears to work correctly. The other source is still available to select, maybe because I still have the old Mac for other things, and it’s still on the local network. Thanks.
No, that’s because plex.tv doesn’t know when you stop using plex server on a certain machine. You’ll have to tell it and remove the old server.
