Plexamp library slow to load when switching from WiFi to cellular

I’m having an irritating issue where the Library (Artists, Albums, etc) are slow to load only when switching from wifi to cellular data. Remote access works normally once it finally does update, but the next time I connect and leave wifi the issue reoccurs.

I have tried using different ports, delete and reinstall of Plex Media Server, and Plexamp. Plex media server is up to date, and running on a M4 Mac-mini connected via ethernet. The iOS app is update to date as well as iOS itself. I have also tried manually entering “Custom server access URLs” which I verified from the logs, but this had no impact on the issue. Home ISP is Comcast, and cellular provider is At&t.

Video of issue, and logs attached. I have seen a few other posts in this forum as well as reddit describing the same issue, but with no solution. I only use Plex for Plexamp, and before the iOS Plex app got updated, that app did not have this same issue (for music). Thank you for any help!

Thanks for sharing the issue with logs! I suspect this is due to us waiting for requests to fail before doing a new connection test after switching networks. In theory we should be doing the retesting right away, but there are a few different t things happening across a network switch.

We’ll figure it out!
