I have just recently noticed that it is taking Plexamp on my iPhone 15 running iOS 17.5.1 a very long time to pull up my library and playlists. In addition, if my phone switches from WiFi to cellular data, Plexamp will hang and get stuck on the spinning wheel. I have to totally shutdown my phone to fix it when it locks up like this. If I just close the app and reopen it, it seems like the app goes right back to the same screen as if closing the app is not truly closing and restarting the app. Are there any phone settings I should look at, or Plex settings? Thank you.
This doesn’t make any sense and shouldn’t ever be needed. At most force quitting the app.
It sounds like you’re likely having connectivity issues to your server over cellular. If you posted your Plexamp logs after experiencing the issues, we can have a look and advise further.
