Hi, i’m experiencing lower volume in android app, i tried disabling volume leveling on playback options, modify preamp, etc but nothing changes. In other apps the volume is like 30% louder
Might be EQ gain. (There is also a gain setting in another sub menu and I assume you meant that one).
If EQ gain is not it, it might also be the source material having less volume/loudness. Play the same file in two different apps and see if volume is the same.
I just tried that and the volume changes but lower rather than go high also the same file is louder in the other app
Can try AAudio and OpenSL in settings to see if either of those produces different results. With EQ off and Loudness leveling disabled, Plexamp is outputting exactly the contents of the digital files and any other processing happens externally by Android itself.
I tried but nothing changes, i’m using a xiaomi if it’s relevant
