We acknowledge it, just not sure how/why it broke.
How are your monitors connected? hdmi, DVI, DP, VGA, usb, lightning, etc.? Any adapters involved?
Both are connected via displayport to a Nvidia 3090FE. No adapters.
Mine are connected with HDMI through a USB-C hub connected to my laptop.
Like @ShadeRF, mine was enabled, but disabling doesnāt change the behavior.
I noticed 4.6.0 doesnāt have a fix, @elan is there anything else we can try or any other information we can provide to help pinpoint the problem? I know itās not a huge deal, itās still functional, but itās really annoying.
Iām sorry, after the activity before, a bunch of us tried to reproduce and didnāt have any luck. I assume weāll have more luck at some point.
Any luck on this yet. Iāve managed to duplicate it in two out of three scenarios Iāve tried, all with multiple monitors. The only differences in the scenarios was either the use of a docking station or the physical configuration of the screens (side by side or two on top one on the bottom).
Iād be happy to get on a call / screen share with you or your team. I can reproduce it 100% of the time every time.
Anyone ever reach out to you?
There hasnāt been any motion on it recently, sorry.
My offer still stands to get on a screen share and help yall replicate. One other thing I thought of is that perhaps itās related to my monitors arenāt the same resolution and also using a different scale setting⦠Not sure if this is the case for others having this problem.
When it happened to me the first time, all of my monitors were running at the same resolution and scale, so that may not be the cause.
I was really hoping this entry in the change log fixed this issue:
- Desktop: Improve window resize behavior with carousel modals.
Unfortunately it doesnāt. Any progress on this, @elan?
Sorry, no. We have an electron bump coming which may help.
Crossing my fingers.
@elan, was 4.7.3 the electron bump you were speaking of? If so, it didnāt fix the incredible shrinking Plexamp.
we actually had high hopes this release might help as @aubrey.wodonga had a nice bug fix in there, but I guess it didnāt help.
Hi @Allerun, Iām still looking into this. Itās a difficult issue to solve as nobody on the team has been able to reproduce it (yet).
Any chance you could send me a copy of your %appData%/Plexamp/MainWindow.json file? This is the location that Plexamp stores the window state and attempts to restore from. Iām hoping it might provide some hints as to whatās going wrong.
