I use plexamp to play music using my Iphone from my PMS on my Synology NAS (Version 7+). I use smart play lists with filters that look at the “last played” value and doesn’t populate if the song has been played within the last few months.
I have noticed that I randomly will hear the same song a few days after hearing it in the past. Today I figured out why. It appears that when a song is played (please keep in mind it doesn’t happen to all songs), that plexamp (assuming it plexamp) does not mark the song in the library as being played with a date. I witnessed this happening and it doesn’t even log the song with a “play” count, let along the “date played”.
Anyone know if this is a plexamp issue or possibly a server issue?
Hard to tell, we’d need to see logs from Plexamp and server after you notice a play missing (which can be hard after the fact). There aren’t any known issues with the reporting, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t unknown issues.

Would these logs still be accessible today (since this happened yesterday) and if so, can you give me steps in capturing these logs from the PMS? (I have the logs from Plexamp)
