I seem to remember something about tracks on repeat only counting as single plays, but I can’t for the life of me find any reference to that. I was just listening to a song non-stop for over an hour probably and it caught about 15 minutes worth of playback. The timing of the last recorded playback is just before I had to restart my internet adapter, so it seems like there is some bug where it doesn’t reconnect to the internet or something to log plays (though, shouldn’t that be in the database still and only possibly affect scrobbles?).
There’s no known issue with recordings plays even if the internet goes out, it’ll save it locally and then ship them over to the server when it reconnects at a later point. It’s possible there’s a weird bug with offline + multiple plays, but without Plexamp logs it’s hard to say.
Where can I send you the log file for today? Probably not a good idea to post it out in the open.
