Plexamp plays music from other librarys

Hello,

Listening to a random playlist on Plexamp it suddenly starts playing music from one of my girls’ libraries. The playlist is called “Fresh” and I assume this is a Plex generated playlist? I’ve not added it myself at least. In the description it says “Tracks you love but haven’t heard lately.”

The specific album from my kid’s library does not contain any stars.

I checked to see that this specific album is not added to my personal library. It is not and I can tell you the music is not exactly what I am listening to normally so I was somewhat surprised when this started playing…

What else may cause this album to be played?

Plexamp has a preference where you can explicitly tell it to stay within the one library you have selected. This must have been changed, as it’s enabled by default, AFAIK.

Yes, that’s the one I was remembering.
If it is already disabled, then I need to ask the developers how the Fresh:heart: playlist is built.

But the solution is easy: build your own playlist using a smart filter which you can define by yourself.

Yeah, the setting was off.

I normally do not play the Plex made playlists, so this was just out of curiosity.

that smart playlist is created by Plexamp when signing in and it uses the default library it picked at the time. you can delete the playlist if you don’t like it.
