@elan – Thank you for the response. I was under the impression, based on the “release notes” on the Apple Store (and your own update posted HERE), that Remote control was supposed to work when the Player and Controller were on different networks:
In my situation, my PMS and my iMac are on the same subnet. So the player (the iMac instance of Plexamp) are on the same network. My controller (the phone) is certainly on a different network. It is connected to the 4G cellular network.
