As of this morning, when I launch PlexAmp and navigate to the Recently Added Music playlist, it no longer sorts by date added, or to be specific it instead sorts alphabetically AND by date BUT it starts at 2 years and older. When I use the Plex App, the Recently Added Playlist behaves/sorts as it should, listing the recently added music stating with the most recently added music. I thought somehow the database had been corrupted so I uninstalled PlexAmp and reinstalled but unfortunately this issue is persisting. I prefer to use PlexAmp but if I can’t get this resolved, I’ll have to go back to using the Plex app witch does not seem to work as well as PlexAmp.
Also, PlexAmp’s Recently Added Playlist now only starts at two years but also has other random dates interspersed between the others i.e. one will be two years the next two months, then back to two years. Also if you scroll down further, you can see other incorrect dates, like 16 years, so obviously something is rotten in Denmark. Again, everything sorts by default just fine if using the the Plex App instead of PlexAmp. I checked if PlexAmp had been auto-updated overnight, since I woke up to the issue this morning but no. It did update a few days ago but I have been using it without issue until this morning. Anybody happen to experience the same issue?
Found others with same issue on the Google Play reviews. Uninstalled 3.3.0, reinstalled 3.2.2 and issue was resolved. Definitely a bug of some sort in the updated version. Turned off auto-update and will wait for Plex to address.
I can confirm I am also experiencing this issue with 3.3.0. Unfortunately I don’t personally have the option to uninstall and sideload the previous version due to I use my work phone with is locked down by our IT department from sideloading. Hope this gets fixed soon. Thanks guys. Love the Plexamp!
so sorry about that, we submitted an update minutes after the release but Google has been rejecting the update for some bizarre reason for the last few days, so trying to work through it.
