I read recently there’s a function where you can have your music shuffle to play top rated hits as if it were a radio station. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to turn that feature on. I’ve turned on sonic and ran my library through the process in case that were the problem-but no luck. I can’t find the DJ options either. When I hold down the song title I don’t get those options.

It’s called “Library Radio”.

It’ll only work, if

  • the music library is set to use the “Plex Music” scanner and agent
  • you don’t have “Popular Tracks” disabled in the properties of the library

The Guest DJ will only work after the sonic analysis has been completed for the whole library. If your server is running on an ARM CPU, sonic analysis is not available.
