PlexAmp stopped connecting to my local server after recent update to the PlexAmp app

Some recent update to PlexAmp ended my ability to connect to my local media server… It worked for months, then stopped on 2 devices… an iPhone, an iPad. I just downloaded the MacOS version, same issue.

Running PlexAmp 3.9.1 under iOS 15.2.1
Connected to PlexMediaServer-1.25.3.5409-f11334058-x86_64_DSM7 running on a Synology NAS which is on the same local network as my devices running PlexAmp.

Note that the regular Plex app still works fine… in PlexAmp, my local server just doesn’t appear under sources. I can’t say for sure what the last working version of PlexAmp I had… I just update all my iOS apps at once usually… Any tips for troublshooting? Seems like if Plex works, PlexAmp should also…

Problem Solved! The issue was the DNS settings on my Synology NAS… It was using the router-supplied address… I set this to use Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and it started working again.
