I have recently noticed that playback on my Samsung phone is stuttering when it is being streamed via cellular data and is being converted to the Opus Codec.
If the phone streams with out conversion - plays a Flac file then there is no issue (other than the big hit to my mobile data!). I have tried various Cellular Bitrate Conversion levels, various Conversion Bitrate levels and turning on and off the Downmix to Stereo.
I have tried clearing the cache.
However, it continues to stutter when playing anything that is converted to the Opus Codec.
If the track is already downloaded to the phone (flac or mp3) it plays perfectly.
The issue seems purely to be one of playing converted tracks with the Opus Codec.
