Plexamp transcoding files to OPUS even at maximum settings

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7349
Player Version#: 4.8.3

Been running Plex on a Synology DS220+ for a few months now. Everything was working fine until I decided to start my library over because of some metadata issues. Now that the scanning is complete, Plexamp refuses to play FLAC or MP3 files without transcoding them to Opus first. Problem occurs whether I’m on local or remote, and on both Apple and Android. Some files will playthrough as is, but it’s a rare and seemingly random occurrence. What’s even stranger is that M4A files (ALAC or AAC) seem unaffected and will play without transcoding. And while this would seem like a network issue, there’s also been not changes to my network between the ‘new’ library and the ‘old’ functional one.

I have attempted to delete the Plexamp app and toggle the options on/off a couple times, to no avail.

Would welcome/appreciate any help!

I cannot currently look at your logs… what are the current settings for the three Settings > Playback > Streaming Quality options?

Thanks for replying! Both wifi and cellular settings are at maximum. Have tried to toggle them by changing back and forth but the issue persists.

Update: I’ve done a bit more testing and decided to create a new library with one of my sub folders. No issue whatsoever with playing FLAC files, so I went back to the same folder in my larger, problematic library and was still getting random Opus conversions. My theory is that the library got corrupted somewhere along the way so I’m going to start from scratch.
