Since the update I have seen issues with the player controls in both CarPlay and iOS lockscreen.
CarPlay: Play/Pause and Previous Track are disabled (e.g. greyed out and unable to press).
iOS: when phone is locked the player controls Play/Pause and Previous Track are disabled. I can still skip forward on track and control volume but not pause or skip back.
iOS ver: 14.4 (iPhone 11 ProMax)
plexamp 3.4.2
Plex server: Version 1.21.4.4079
we definitely made some fixes in that area so i guess it’s not totally surprising something broke. any chance for steps to reproduce and/or logs, because i can’t trivially reproduce (and clearly not something reported by testers…)
No Idea on the steps but it happens on any wirelessly connected device (bluetooth speaker, AirPods pro, HomePod mini, CarPlay)

After fussing with it for a bit I am still unable to recreate the bug that was so persistent yesterday… so I guess this can be closed?
was able to reproduce with offline content (seems to be a race, because it only seems to happen some of the time). will fix!
