I know that PlexConnect is brand spanking new and I am stoked about it. One question I have is this...can someone explain the technical details behind how it plays the iTunes DRM'ed video? I have a ton of content I have purchased from Apple and that has been my biggest sticking point...I couldn't play it on Plex. Great work as always to the Plex team!

If it is direct playing, there is no Plex software "in the middle". It just becomes a file, streamed to an ATV, using the ATV decoder. All PlexConnect does is mess around with how to present the file to the ATV, it doesn't touch the file itself (assuming it is direct playing it)
So then does the iTunes DRM'ed movie sit in my Plex library? Has this always worked or is this something new with PlexConnect?

The later, PlexConnect is the only interfacet that uses an Apple App to play the media.
