Hello everybody, hoping I can find an answer here.

 

I am running the typical Plex server on my computer, this computer is currently set up in my family's home while I am living out of country. I use the iphone/ipad app to view remotely and my family is using the Xbox to view locally. For whatever reason the Xbox doesn't work all that great sometimes, and tends to cause a lot of spam in the server activity log.

 

The fix? PlexConnect. I have it all up and running, and it looks and works great so far. However it seems that because the ATV and Xbox are on the local network, they automatically register the user as me (messing with the on deck and watched shows information). Is there any way to force a separate login for the local devices and eliminate this conflict?

You'll be able to specify users when MyPlex support is enabled.  It's currently in the works, the dev's would have more info as to when it's going to be pushed to the official build.
