Hi,
I tried to setup PlexConnect for my AppleTV with open Plex. Hijacked the iMovie App. In the Setting on the AppleTV (inside the hijacked app) it says „Discover: Plex Media Servers: 1“.
My Plex Server is for some reason not reachable from outside my Network, is that an issue? (http://cl.ly/acoD)
My Mac has a static IP outside the DHCP range. OpenPlex and PMS are running. OpenPlex says PlexConnect is running. Both deveices have been restarted.
Every Software is the newest version.
Help please.
This problem is not related with PlexConnect, but with PMS itself -> https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200931138
In case it is caused by double NAT read this (last post has a general solution).

Just to clarify, PlexConnect needs Remote access to work?! Because if it doesn’t I don’t want to bother setting it up as I don’t need it for anything else.
I already read the Plex help and set up a manual port forward. (Which works, right?)
The router is an ISP issued one and four days old. Nothing was changed except for the login info (to get the internet to work). It is the only router/modem/switch in the network. There shouldn’t be a Double NAT then, right?
