I have PlexConnect working perfectly in my old computer that is using Windows Home Premium 32 bits. But I have now a new PC with Windows Ultimate 64 bits and cant make the PlexConnect working… when I click, immediately crashes.
Except: Installed Python 2.7.6 Windows X86-64 Installer instead of Python 2.7.6 Windows Installer (I tried the other but didn’t worked too) Installed Win64 OpenSSL v1.0.1f Light instead of Win32 OpenSSL v1.0.1f Light Installed Visual C++ 2008 Redistributables (x64) instead of Visual C++ 2008 Redistributables Changed “C:\OpenSSL-Win32” to “C:\OpenSSL-Win64” in the command lines
After all instructions done, when I click in the file PlexConnect.py he immediately crashes. The don’t see any firewall window open like the tutorial above said. What I’m doing wrong? How can I fix this?
Waiting for your replies, thank you guys!

*my only problem is with the streaming lag on 720p videos (1Channel, putlocker) on mac. i never have such lag with xbmc. i'll find the related thread. thanks*
Can't really help you with channel issue but check it is Python 2.7.x you have installed and check my post 2 for troubleshooting steps.
i used 2.7.6. i fixed the problem thanks, it was the Microsoft Visual 2008 C++ which was not compatible. So I installed another version. Open SSL failed to execute properly. so for those who are having issues with PlexConnect, make sure your certificates are correctly acquired
As far as PlexConnect crashing immediately after running plexconnect.py. The guid said to extract the PlexConnect-Master to “C:\Program File”. That didn’t work and crashed immediately. So what I did was, I deleted the extracted file, And I Re-Extracted the file PlexConnect-Master to “C:”. Now it works fine.

Did you correct the permissions if using Windows 7 or later as per the guide?
Extract the PlexConnect archive you downloaded earlier. We recommend extracting it to "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)" on x64 systems; if you use either of these folders and are running Windows 7 or later ensure that the directory has the correct read/write permissions.
