Just a note for the less intelligent - I assumed it would make use of my existing Plexconnect and didn't run through the initial setup procedure. Once I figured that out all working fine for me on 10.9. You guys have done a truly fantastic job, this is awesome!!

Sorry for that. I should've warned that it'll not use existed PlexConnect.
Another thing to point it is that your app generates its own certificates on the mac its being used on. If you want to use a different cert you will need to put it in the proper directory. I use one generated from a different mac for all of my atv’s and mac’s so I had to copy it over, not that it was hard to do 
Maybe in a newer build you can give us the option to change the cert or something.

hmm, you don't like auto generating, you don't like auto installing. Just use terminal... That's kinda already implemented, just open PlexConnect Directory from settings and replace certs. (it's not hard at all)

My Plex Connect isn't auto starting - I have to manually connect.
Its still being implemented from what I read in his post see known bugs at the end.

Another feature i just thought of, that after all the other features and this one will be in the app it'll be PERFECT:
Option to change the app PlexConnect will Hijack-I mean, it's possible to use PlexConnect with Trailers, iMovie Theater, WSJ Live and probably more. So you can create an option for this in settings, and every app you'll choose the Plexify app will change PlexConnect files to the right Domains and will do that automatically with every Github update!
And update your main post to 1.1 public beta so it'll be easier for people to download .. :)

I tested the 1.1 beta on Mountain Lion Server 10.8.5.
Copied my own cert and settings.cfg. I'm running DNS on my server.
The app runs, then when I hit play it says it starts PlexConnect but ATV just spins on Accessing Trailers.

Am getting an error stating "Wrong Password, try again!" at the start of the installation. I only have one user on my Mac and I only have one password. I know I am typing it correctly.

Had that one as well, but after retyping it, it continued.
Works fine on 10.8 and 10.9.
The only thing that didn't work for me, was the last step in the setup guide, to add the profile to the aTV.
I then reinstalled my own certs from my previous PlexConnect setup and continued using my existing profile.
Works.
where is this new plexconnect folder kept?

i had the same problem with the password. so i changed my password in the admin - account to the same i had before, mac restart and everything went fine.
download and installation - no probs but then it gets to add the profile to the apple tv. wasn't able to add it, so just skipped this step.
do i have to put the cert to the apple tv via cable ? where do i find the new plexconnect folder from plexify? i think i will copy the existing certs i already use to this folder.
