@nesss01 thanks for the feedback, few questions:

1) Is this the first time it crashed?
2) Could you please confirm if your mac was always connected to a network?

concerning "app nap", it's not supported yet (otherwise it might not be compatible with 10.7)
 

1. this was the 3rd crash since installing this version on the day of release. It stayed up all last night, though.

2. as far as i know, it was always connected. I suppose there may have been a network outage i am unaware of.

I take back that everything was fine last night.

I found this in console, and when i tried to stop plexconnect in plexify, nothing happens (in plexify. i think plexconnect does stop, but plexify still says it is running)

So having got this far and delighted with Plexify, is there a simple way to change the Trailers app graphic to a Plex graphic? That would be icing on the cake!

u cant change the standard icon as it is being served by apple and is not physically on the ATV

dunno if thats even possible.. if someone mange to crack the addsite thing again, that would be much easier..

I can't get Plexify to run.

Mac Mini, 2gb Ram, OSX 10.7.5, Core 2 Duo.

I very new to OSX and I dont know where to start looking to find out what the problem is.

Can anyone help or have any ideas?

Plexify is a work in progress and is still in a beta stage. Until its complete you might be better off using this guide to install plexconnect, they also implemented the new daemon bash to autostart plexconnect recently for osx.

Well, I was not able to make installation more simpler. Really! just click simple installation - Plexify will do everything for you... If you know a simpler way lemme know :)

Im not getting anything come up when I try and open Plexify.

Is there any prerequisites I should have installed?

Nope, it should work on your system for sure. We've tested it. 

Could you please minimize all other windows/applications and then open Plexify?

@cyberon I love your app, just trying to help him troubleshoot that is all.

@mudge here is some basic troubleshooting steps for osx maybe something is messed up keeping you from running plexify. I have ran plexify without any issues on 10.9, and it has ben tested with 10.7 if you look at the first post in this topic, not this link ive posted below which is for trouleshooting:
