As long as both plexconnect and plexify work in tandem the end result is going to soar to greater heights then anyone could of ever expected on top of all the people contributing to look into new ways to make everything more automated on all fronts. So many people are working behind the scenes with so many different things from the entire plex team, troubleshooting volunteers, developers, wiki & channel documentation and much more im sure im missing. This entire project is amazing & has some very bright individuals and I can speak for all of us by saying we appreciate everyone efforts and patience to get everything to where it is today as well as for the future of things to come. I cannot say this enough keep up the excellent work guys we all appreciate it!
I didn't say you are stealing... and you wouldn't post in here any more if this would be my worst fear. :-D
It is just strange that on the last page of this thread this topic was brought up about 5 times or so, all from different people.
I am all for development, extensions, enhancements. One reason for PlexConnect being open source.
Speaking of sources... I am still curious to see.
Well, I did not ask people to write in this topic. And I understand that it's still based on PlexConnect.
In spite of the fact that it's working as it should it's still at an early development stage. That's why it's not open source yet...
No bad feelings, really - just a friendly reminder.
Open Source - One learning from the last couple months with PlexConnect: There are plenty of motivated people out there helping to find/fix issues, even on pre-alpha software. :-D
That is just the app getting updates making sure plexconnect is operational as in the green light on the app. Maybe he could make it check less often, not the end of the world though its just a log. Remember this is just a beta, just make suggestions. ;)
Well today was the first day that I restarted my Mac where Plexify is running and I'm not sure if it pulling down new files from Github. As I look at Github now I am on 432 commits. The file Webserver.py is dated 18 hours ago yet the file Webserver.py in my Plexify folder shows 25/11/13. It doesn't appear to have updated from Github.

@HKMacs really weird. Plexify should update PlexConnect at startup.
That's what I thought. Just to give you more information, Plexify is running on a different computer to my main Plex Server which is on the iMac (see my sig for more details). Nothing in the log file suggests that it is updating or not. How can I help with more info?

@HKMacs I'll check again. Maybe that's my fault
How about manually adding a "Check for update" function that could trigger a pull from GitHub as an interim measure while you work out how to do it automatically?
