Just use the same SMB setup as on your other Kodi machine where Plex is not running

Just attach it to the github.com issue directly. Remember to delete all the tokens first
I’ve just realized that, with the latest version 1.8.17, the context menu is missing and i cannot delete my episodes or movies any more. How can i delete my watched files from Kodi without going to plex server and manually delete them?

I created a PlexKodiConnect.xml profile in the Profiles directory, which is a copy of the Generic.xml:

I get the same profile error so tried the PlexKodiConnect.xml but I get the following error…
ERROR - XML: Start tag expected, ‘<’ not found
And “ERROR - Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Linux, platformVersion=, device=PlexKodiConnect, model=” , still shows in the logs after a restart.
Any idea why that is?
Edit: Never mind… On Ubuntu the profile needs to be in
“/usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles/”
not in…
/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/

Need a bit more info
- What Kodi skin are you using?
- Have you tried using another skin than the current one?
- Try going to the PKC settings, Artwork, “Download Artwork now”, then let Kodi sit for at least 60 minutes

If I install PlexKodiConnect, default installation, works great. But playback is delayed. When using PlexBMC it is alot faster to actually serve the video

I try to setup directpath playback, but I since my server is offsite, via seedbox, I assume this is not possible?
