When you downgrade from 2.5.x to 2.4.x, be sure to downgrade the 2 helper add-ons plugin.video.plexkodiconnect.movies and plugin.video.plexkodiconnect.tvshows to 2.0.5 I think it was.
@croneter, did that my friend, still have the exit issue but CPU use is down. I will live with it for now and see how you go with the new versions, Last I saw you were at 2.5.6 i think. All else fails delete pkc and kodi and start fresh on the NAS.

@croneter. Prior to that update system was fine, no changes. Well you will be happy to know, I am any way 
. That after disabling Artwork Downloader adding Artwork Beef and then reinstalling the latest versions of the two dependencies and then latest PKC all is working fine and shutting down as well. Must have just been my damn luck. thanks for listening to my ramblings
So whats the deal with artwork not fully loading, even on the add-ons page it doesn’t load all the artwork for the add-ons.
My guess is that this is caused by Kodi caching artwork. There’s a TON in the beginning
After having issues with 2.5.x I downgraded to pkc 2.4.11 with the 2.05 help services and kodi 18 RC1 and I don’t get art work showing up for movies and TV shows. I reset the kodi db a number of times and no fix. Any idea for something else to try? thanks
edit: of course as soon as I post this i fixed it. I had to turn off SSL under Connection > Enable HTTPS in pkc settings.
In case anyone is using the latest Kodi nightlies there was a PR merged a few hours ago that changed the Kodi DB version number so you’ll have to manually update it here

I keep getting a plexkodiconnect connection error during playback or movies and shows.
This is the only time it seems to happen.
Is this a known thing? On the latest beta.
I’m having issues with content not syncing fully after updating to beta 2.5.5. Did notice that if a new episode is added to the folder, it’ll sync back the missing seasons/episodes
2.5.x is beta and is apparently a big change in how PKC works. There are some issues with it and I reverted to 2.4.11 and 2.0.5 movies/tv show helpers since it continues to work fine.
If you want to help you can post your debug logs. (croneter may have enough logs already)

@croneter. An interesting thing I discovered may be related. I was not experiencing the Error in Library Sync, I did have the missing items though and Kodi and now hanging on exit, neither of which happened before. I was looking through the settings and turned off “would like to download additional fanartoption”. I then was experiencing the Error Library Sync at playback. Turn it back on and the error goes away. I also notice in the advanced section it says (greyed out) that sync on both lines is completed NO…Hope this helps, haven’t added logs as you have enough already

Have you ever checked out MrMC? Their communication method for the Plex plugin (not PfK addon) seems pretty flawless, almost as if it’s an official plex app - never any resume issues - instant playback every time. Would be sick if you could get PKC working like that!
