When customizing a skin is it recommended to use addon paths or skinhelper paths? I remember getting some skin corruption when i used the plexkodiconnect addon paths.
That’s completely irrelevant. You should NOT be able to “corrupt” anything using PKC nodes…
Sometimes the posters start to jump and become distorted. Maybe it was an issue with the skin. I used the on deck and next up from the plex node and will see if it happens again. One thing I notice is the plex nodes takes longer to load than the skinhelder nodes.
That’s unrelated to PlexKodiConnect
Yes, that’s true, sadly… Use the PlexKodiConnect On Deck node for movies, that’s faster than the “normal” one
When I turn on Kodi I have the message:
plexconnect database disk image is malformed

Hi
Have an strange problem.
I try to get IMDB trailers to work inside Kodi, but as it seems the IMDB Id’s that comes from PKC is way off.
The Id’s isn’t to be found at all.
I use the skin Arctic Zephyr: Leia Mod, and BeatmasterRS tried to help me. Even added IMDB trailers as an choice in the skin.
But when the id’s isn’t right, the addon can’t search for it. To bad.
Link to thread on Kodi. And here are the log
Hope someone can help, think this is strange
Petter
Is it possible to get this node for recently added and so on?
If you mean “fast nodes”, then yes - if possible, all “nodes” that you see under a certain Plex library if you navigate to PlexKodiConnect are fast if that’s somehow possible.
Do PKC share the IMDB Id’s with Kodi?
Wonder, because the IMDB Id’s the addon IMDB trailer get, is way off…
So, what are the chances that the skip intro stuff can be integrated with this addon? I assume Kodi would need to support it somehow also?
Anyone having issues with videos suddenly stopping since the latest plex update?
I’m not on the latest PMS version, unfortunately. Did you try to go back to an older version?
So I’m running a Unraid server with Plex as a docker.
In the docker settings my local Unraid path /mnt/user/media is mapped to /media for Plex

and in Plex all my movie paths starts with /media.
My primary unit for watching is a Vero 4K running OSMC (Kodi) and I would like to set it up with this addon as well as the Plex Addon I already use.
On my Vero I’ve already mounted the Unraid path to media into the Vero 4k local path /mnt/media since I used Kodi before I moved to Plex.

What is the best way for me now in this addon just mapp Plex /media path’s to the local Vero path /mnt/media instead of a network share?
Thanks.
EDIT: in the PlexKodiConnect options in Sync Options I got the Playback Mode set to Direct Paths, but without that I’ve used “Set network credentials for Direct Paths and direct play” since I don’t want it to point to a network share, but a local path (since I’ve the my network share mounted already.
Instead in Customize Path I activated “Replace Plex paths /volume1/media or…” and set -Original Plex MOVIE path to replace: /media/ and - Replace Plex MOVIE with: /mnt/media/.
This doesn’t work.
EDIT2: After some resets, and changing my path’s as I said, I had to do a new sync for the library. After that it works.

Turns out to be an issue with my wifi network.
Would be great to know if this is possible for sure!
Is there a way using kodi 17.6 to get the resume where I left off instead of it playing from the beginning of a video to work. When I use the new kodi version 18.7-Leia it just doesn’t fast forward that well, it skips & isn’t smooth on my firetv or nvidia shield, it is perfect on Kodi 17.6, Maybe my streaming boxes are too old for the newest kodi, I don’t know.
Hello Croneter!
Longtime user and big fan of PKC… Thank you for all you do!
I’ve been having an issue with playback of music and video, and I’ve posted the log below. Hoping someone can give some insight… I started Kodi, started an album playing, stopped as soon as it started skipping, and exited Kodi. I noticed a lot of the warnings and errors seemed to be around Plex things in the log, I just don’t know what they mean!
Any help is SOOOO appreciated. THANKS!
Aaaaand here’s a log that’s actually got the debug enabled… might be more useful?
I’m running the stable version and one thing I’ve noticed is that when I watch something with subs it changes the setting on my plex account to NONE on the subtitles so if I watch it on another client the subtitles won’t be selected anymore.
Is there a way to prevent kodi from touching plex’s setting on the subs? It works fine during playback but clearing the subtitle setting on the account itself is not a desired change. I’m not sure if it does this on audio as well but I don’t have much dual audio stuff to test on.
I’m on a shield pro btw if that matters.
