Anyone have problems with their playcounts?
If I watch something new (episodes) it gets a playcount of 3.
If I watch something (episodes) in the plex app and then load up kodi, pkc syncs and marks the item as watched with a playcount of 3.
Update: turns out it was a plex server error, it has been fixed with a server update.

Working great (still!) on Kodi 21. Is there any information about compatibility with Kodi 22? I am asking because there has been recent developments incorporating DSPlayer with more recent Kodi versions, but PKC throws up an install error with Kodi 22.
Thanks!
I will probably just need to tell PlexKodiConnect that it’s now compatible with Kodi 22 without doing anything else.
Kodi 22 is still in alpha phase though and a LOT of stuff usually breaks. Thus use is discouraged and PKC cannot and will not guarantee compatibility
Yep, understood re the alpha phase. If it’s just a case of me editing a build file inside the zip, let me know!
In any case, thank you for the continued support for my favourite Kodi addon.
Installed from the repo, edited the file you mentioned, seems to work. Huzzah.

I am seeing a “Choose version:” popup, even though there is only 1 version of the file in the 1 library I have synced. Bug?
CoreELEC 21.1
@MediaHorder have you tried resetting the Kodi database in the PKC settings?
It was a fresh install so no…

Howdy croneter! My PKC stopped updating the library. I’d add a movie to the server, and then it never shows up on PKC, although it does show up on other clients. I went into the configuration page, and made it worse. Now it can’t find my server or play anything. Should I uninstall, or do a full reset? I reset the local database, but said no to resetting the full add-on settings. It didn’t help. In fact, I just tried it again, and it crashed the Vero.
I’m on OSMC’s Vero 4K+ running Kodi Jarvis (v16). It’s running PKC 3.8.1 and the weird thing is that it won’t show me any updates, even though I see that you are up to 3.10 something now.
Please advise. Hope you are doing well.
Bill
Howdy @bill_wolfer_gmail_com !
I would try a full reset, including your settings. Fingers crossed
Well, I crossed my fingers and did the full reset, including the settings, and no dice. I got to thinking that maybe the Vero 4K+ OSMC software had gotten corrupted, so I downloaded the November update which I had been waiting to do until I got PKC sorted. But alas, that didn’t solve it either. PKC still won’t update the library, and still won’t play any movies. I get an error that scrolls across the screen saying:
PlexKodiConnect
(Could not add item to playlist. Kodi reply. %s’, {‘error’: {'code": -32602, ‘message’: ‘Invalid params.’}, ‘id’: 1, ‘jsonrpc’: ‘2.0’})
Another odd thing is it doesn’t show any new versions. It’s on 3.8.1, so it should show more recent ones, right?
Please advise. Thx
Bill
OK. It might take me a couple of days before I can get to it. I’ll have to access Kodi via SSH from my desktop, and I’ll have to refresh my memory as to how to do that (I’ve done it before when the Vero has had troubles). Thx!
