Now i have my holidays films inside KODI movies

copy that, many thanks, will work on that,
thx again

Edit : working great !

One other
Ratings don’t sync into Kodi (tried several skins). They are in PLEX server (“note” metadata when i edit the movie)
Something i’ve missed ?
Thx

PS : my plex server (and scrapers) is in french… could it be the source of this issue ?

Not a direct answer, but many skins nowadays use the skin helper addon which retrieves ratings (imdb, rotten tomatoes) “on demand” so they are always up to date.

Using Aeon Nox (Kodi 17) so far. But i can change if it helps to have ratings back (rotten tomatoes would be nice ;))

There are quite a few (eg Titan) but I will plug my modded skin here: Estuarized

As an added bonus it shows your plex avatar at the top left of the homescreen

Just to clarify for @crotener - you are saying ratings are working for you in kodi 16.1 and not Kodi 17 (so not skin related as the skin I linked is only available for kodi 17)

In order to get assistance here your best bet is to create an issue on github with logs as requested in the how to report a problem.

New PKC user here, running into some issues.

I’m running on an Nvidia Shield TV, using SPMC v16.3. I started with a clean install of SPMC from the Play Store, added the PKC repository, added PKC and ran the setup against my Plex server with basically stock settings (including Plug-In paths). Everything went great, and after the sync completed, I added the Titan skin and customized it to perfection. But a bit later (after successfully playing a video file) – all my sections and widgets come up blank. looking at the log files, there are tons of entries that look like this:

13:22:32 T:2133260592 NOTICE: Using Image Cache Thread Count: 25 -> 1 13:22:32 T:1861421360 WARNING: static XFILE::IFile* XFILE::CFileFactory::CreateLoader(const CURL&) - unsupported protocol(plugin) in plugin://plugin.video.plexkodiconnect.movies/?dbid=1&mode=play&id=1&filename=%2Flibrary%2Fmetadata%2F1

(complete log files attached).

Any idea what I’ve done wrong? Thanks!

Looks like something on the Kodi side got screwed up. Try uninstalling PKC. Restart Kodi. Reinstall

Reseting everything and setting up again (this time with direct paths) seems to of fixed it. Thanks!

Running PKC and Krypton Alpha 3 on a wired Nexus Player. Everything works as it should except the main thing. I cannot get constantly good video playback. Video pauses with audio still playing then catches up 10 seconds later. Is Krypton not ready for PKC yet. I’m getting good playback on videos not coming from PMS. I’ve never had success with Kodi alphas before but I have no patience. PKC rocks by the way.

As mentioned before, Kodi Krypton is yet under heavy development. It’s very likely that Krypton is causing your issues. Try to be patient  and maybe try another, more stable Kodi…?

I just never noticed anyone having playback issues. Everything works to perfection on Jarvis.

The playback itself is handled by kodi. PKC only hands the path to your video to kodi.

But if you have the time, you can open an issue on github.com and attach a full kodi log with debug logging enabled for both PKC and kodi

How can I exclude certain Plex library folders from being synced to my Kodi library? I just want Moves and TV, and not any other folders where I store video files. Couldn’t see anything obvious in the PKC settings…

I have a Training & Tutorials folder on plex for storing other video content, but it has now ended up in the kodi Movies library…

Maybe an argument to exclude a folder from kodi library if it includes a ignore.me file, or similar?

You have to do this on the Plex side (as with all other Plex clients). Set-up a new home user (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/203948776-Managed-Users) and do not give him/her access to these Plex libraries.

OR, less strict (so you would still have access, but would not see the corresponding items within the movies)
