I updated PMS (with the newer PlexWeb) Monday and PlexWeb quit playing videos. I then received another message that an update was available (today) so I updated that hoping to fix the PlexWeb issue however it did not fix it; PlexWeb is still broken.
After reviewing the PMS log file and the Transcoder log file I noticed that it was referencing mp4 files even though these are mkv files. So I checked and PlexWeb played MP4 files fine, but not avi or mkv files. It just has the spinning circle until I manually stop the attempted playback.
When will this be fixed, I’d really not have to revert to PMS version 1.8x… AGAIN?
