Plugin not showing up anywhere

I have the latest version of Plex installed and I cloned a plugin into my plugin directory, after a restart when I go to Settings → Manage → Plugins it shows up there.

But when I go to Settings → Settings → Plugins nothing shows:

I’m not sure if that’s supposed to be empty, but I can’t find the plugin anywhere, where is it supposed to show up?

No mentions of plugins anywhere.

Plugins are no longer supported

while the Plugin Directory will soon be gone, you can still manually install plugins for the foreseeable future.

It’s supported until it’s fully removed.

True but I have not seen a client where plugins have not been removed from the GUI so kind of pointless unless its a plugin like webtools.

We’re just about passed “the foreseeable future”. It’s been well over a year since the original announcement.

Well honestly it’s all pretty vague. Yes it has become unsupported, but you can still use the plugin directory, but apparently not the GUI? Are there any plans to support custom channels or plugins again in the future?

Correct. That’s how Plex chose to remove support for plugins over time; as clients were updated, accessing plugins from those clients was removed.

I don’t know. Plex hasn’t announced anything so far.

Actually, the plugin’s are still present in the Web-Client, under Settings/Manage/Plugins

When said, only settings can be accessed, and as such, allowing access to scanners/agents and a very few selected utilities, like WebTools and ExportTools

Plugins that req. a menu etc (Read: Streaming plugins mostly), are no longer functioning
