PMS 1.15.8.11198 permission issue on QNAP TVS 471

Hello again and thanks for following up, yeah it’s working again and created a file under the name “com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-2019-06-17”.

But currently I am getting the following error on the QNAP NAS;

So I decided to get rid of all databases by deleting all backups alongside with the “-shm” and “-wal”, and yet the same error appear again and again, and server (QNAP) became jammed and can’t access it unless I perform a full restart and check for the file system.

This is a copy from the log after creating fresh database, I don’t know what’s going on again :sweat_smile:

As already said, QTS 4.4 is a beta OS, and is not supported!

The error msg, is coming from QTS, and not from Plex, and indicates, that either your QNAP was not properly shutdown, or an error in QTS

Can you please advise on QTS supported version as I checked for an update for the QNAP firmware and return with “Latest Updates”,

The error I got it when Plex stop responding and then I can’t access the NAS itself, this when I have to perform a restart

Above indicates, that QNAP OS stopped responding, and a hard reset of the QNAP will potentially damage both file system and Plex database!

When looking at the screenshot you provided, you’ll notice, that you ticked the “Join the QTS Beta…” option, and why you are running on a beta OS

So I downgraded Plex to version “4.3.6.0979” as per your recommendations and to solve the issue of compatibility since 4.4 is not yet supported.

Plex Media Server updated to version “1.16.0.1226”.

And now I am facing another issue with Plex for Android TV “BRAVIA 4K GB” version “7.17.2.11085” library is not loaded when I open Plex, though the server name and user appear on the home screen.

I tried uninstall and install Plex on the TV and sign again, library will load and when I exit the app and reload it again library disappear again !, is this normal ?

Hello, any idea why Plex database keep getting corrupted :thinking:, and how could I fix it ?

I went through the article you shared but didn’t know how to install it on QNAP since PMS there.

Please start a new thread for new issues.
Otherwise, it’s almost impossible to search for an answer
