Can’t use my Plex setup since last update. I use Live TV DVR (With lifetime plex pass) (with homerune hd quattro), commercial skip, external hard drive, on nvidia shield tv (2017 edition). Was working great a few days ago. Other apps work well (youtube, netflix, etc). What can I do?
I figured it was due to a database corruption by looking at the log files by the URL indicated when we enable network logging. Then, I managed to connect on my shield drives using my PC by enabling the SMB protocols in Windows. I was then able to locate the database files following instructions that I found online on the plex support pages, and i found backups of the database. I wiped out the whole content of the database folder (All files) and then copied back the backup file and renamed it to the normal file name. Then rebooted the shield, and it solved the problem.
