Pms 1.19.4

Server Version#:1.19.4
Player Version#:

After I upgraded to the latest fw with my Qnap TS-45BE, Plex will not start. What do I do?

Downgrade? Where do I get different versions?

" Plex is not reachable.

Make sure your server has an internet connection and any firewalls or other programs are set to allow access."

Let’s continue here, since you created this first.
We’ll ignore the other thread.

If you want to do two things:

  1. QNAP Control Panel - Shared Folders - Create a “PlexData” shared folder on your DataVol1 (or default volume). Grant appropriate permissions for you to access it as admin / your username.

  2. Install 1.20.0 - it may complain. If it does, dismiss/delete the errors

  3. start Plex - it will create direct access links to where your logs are (what we’re after)

  4. When startup fails, Open FileStation

  5. Navigate: PlexData/Plex Media Server

  6. Right-click Logs and then Compress to Logs.zip

  7. when complete, download them to your computer then upload here.

Hi, and thanks a lot for helping me. I tried a last time to access the web-server and ot the followinf two screens: 1 & 2

I then downloaded logs from “Troubleshooting”

Logs are attached. Loking forward to the solution.

Note, there is “Server update” message also. Should I try updating?Plex Media Server Logs_2020-08-08_09-28-03.zip (2.5 MB)

Actually, it worked when I was logged in. I clicked Dashboard and I can play movies. I wonder what happened. Additional question: Sometimes it pauses to decode 1-2 seconds. Are there optimal settings to prevent this, and do I do this on the client (Samsung TV) or the server (Qnap)? My router has disabled IPv6. Is it safe to turn this off in Advanced Settings on the server? I see that the 1.19.5 update is available to install. I downloaded it. Can I install it or will I get Datashare problems? Install 1.20?

I also upgraded to 1.19.5, and it still works fine. Should I upgrade it further?

Of course. So as you wish.
