My Roku players (Ultra 4800RW & Stick+ 3810RW) had been tormented with trailer playback issues for many months. My Rokus are set to play 1 trailer before movies. At least 50% of the time, I would get Roku on-screen errors like “transcoder failed to start up“ or “failed to write file” (IIRC) that would occur sometimes up to 10 times or more before a trailer would actually play before continuing with my movie playback.
But I’m happy to say that this latest beta has seemed to have solved these trailer playback errors.
Environment is Proxmox x64 in LXC originally installed via https://community-scripts.org/scripts/plex. To get the beta, I then used https://github.com/mrworf/plexupdate to upgrade from 1.43.0.10492 (public) to 1.43.1.10576 (beta).
