I’m contacting you because i’m not able to play my videos by PMS.
On my NAS (Synology) I checked in the Package Center to check the PMS package and it’s not running.
And the issue is the next : every time i tried to click on “RUN”, i have the same message “Failed to run the package service”.
I tried to uninstall PMS from my NAS and install again but even if the installation run correctly I have the same “failed to run the package service” at the end.
I tried to repair database as wrote here but nothing happened. After that I routhly deleted all plex files on my NAS but still cannot run :(.
Please, can someone help me ? Thanks a lot.

1st: try to install a newer version of the Plex Media Server. Version 1.18.5 is… pretty old (it was release in January 2020) – so there could be a number of things that might already have been fixed in the current public releases. If Synology’s package center isn’t offering you a newer version, please download the latest public/stable build from Plex’ download page: Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More → make sure you pick the Intel 64-bit package for your NAS!
If that doesn’t fix things for you, please provide your server log files (alternative link on how to obtain the files manually if PMS isn’t running on your Syno)
I have installed the last version 1.22.3.4523-6000, but still the same. The permission were set to R/W.
The log file not exist. The file directory is empty, there are no files
