When I install PMS and restart I do not get first run configuration page.
In order to complete the setup you need to open your Plex Media Server through its local IP.
If you’re on the same machine… open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in your browser. If you’re on a different machine inside your home network, use http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead. This will bring up a wizard/dialog where you can name your server and link it to your Plex account (as well as creating your first libraries).
Once you “claimed” your server (=linked it to your Plex Media Account), you’ll also be able to access it from other Plex apps or via http://app.plex.tv/desktop.

I’ve tried to access PMS through http://127.0.0.1:32400/web but I never get the prompt to setup the server.
If I try to ‘add media’, the page shows the “Get PMS” button.
PMS is running, as well as the tuner and update services and the ScriptHost.
0.0.0.0:32400 is Listening on TCP.
I’ve tried restarting and re-installing.
what does http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/identity show?
try opening http://[Local Plex Media Server IP Address]:32400/web in an incognito tab

Since the claimed=1, perhaps I setup PMS on this PC before and files still exist after uninstall?
Incognito was same as regular chrome.

I found an old plex server I had setup in the registry.
Followed the steps and the ‘claim server’ page came up.
No worries, tis not search fu, but rather Ive been a lurker long enough to spot the common issues
