I have Plex Media server version 1.41.3.9314-a0bfb8370 64-bit for Windows. I have visited the settings>authorized devices removed my server, uninstalled PMS from Windows including from appdata>user>local as well deleting the registry enteries. I have tried installing PMS again and when I select launch I am asked to login, then I am redirected to the main PMS web page with settings. I have selected settings and looked under authorized devices to find my previous server back in the list, I have uninstalled and reinstalled PMS using the above steps at least six times with the exact same result and no basic setup wizard option. I have also tried using the local address (127.0.0.1:32400/web) instead of app.plex.tv/web, but I keep getting a message saying unable to connect. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with triggering the basic setup wizard to create a new server, instead of having to create a new account just to get the basic setup wizard to launch after installing. I would greatly appreciate any assistance, but please give the directions in steps.

I have reinstalled and followed the steps through the install process, signed in to my account just to be taken to the main web interface is with settings. I have tried this at least six to eight times and I haven’t gotten the basic setup screen to launch even when using the local address (127.0.0.1:32400/web), except when I tried installing PMS in Linux using virtualbox and I was able to launch the basic setup in Windows. I uninstalled Linux and virtualbox, but when I launched PMS in Windows again, I got the message saying that I am not authorized because of secure connection settings. I would greatly appreciate any assistance since I have been without a working server for about 3 days now. I apologize if I am not suppose to pm you or the other moderators.
Did you previously run an instance of PMS on that system?
It sounds like you might have missed some remnants of an old server (e.g. some of the registry attributes).
Yes I did have PMS installed on this system, but before I reinstalled PMS I used the program everything to check for any left over files, folders and registry keys and deleted everything. I have no idea why I am having so much trouble getting the basic setup to launch, because I usually just uninstall and reinstall PMS with the basic setup launching as normal.
I would try to avoid any uninstallers or clean-up tools.
