PMS Mac Mini - Intermittent Playback Issues

Server Version#: Version 1.18.0.1944
Player Version#: android 7.23.0.13123

While watching content, playback will randomly stop. If I view the Plex Server Dashboard, there is a flatline on the Bandwith graph that correlates with the playback issues. I was looking to see if anyone else has seen this issue, and if so what you have done to fix it. I have read around this could be caused by the most recent version of PMS.

Hey sorry to hear about that. Maybe we can spot something in the server logs. Go into your Settings - Show Advanced and

  1. Enable debug logging but not verbose and Save
  2. Restart the Mac and log into your desktop
  3. Give PMS another 6min to initialize.
  4. Start playback and play until failure.
  5. Continue another 2min, the stop playback.
  6. Wait another 30sec.
  7. Download Logs
  8. Zip up what it gives you and attach it with your next reply.
