PMS migration from 32-bit to 64-bit

Should be a rather straight forward update, although you’ll need to manually install the 64-bit version. This will uninstall the 32-bit version in the process but shouldn’t touch your server config / libraries / media at all.

Media Server for Windows 64bit?

No. 32-bit will upgrade to 32-bit. You need to install the 64-bit manually. It will then auto-update and stay on the 64-bit version. 64-bit version will uninstall the 32-bit version so you don’t have to do anything special. The 32-bit will not replace the 64-bit version, you will need to uninstall the 64-bit manually if you want to go back to the 32-bit.
