PMS not working on qnap nas. Cant open 192.168.0.19:32400

Hi all

This is my first NAS so im a bit of a newbie. Got my qnap TS-453Be as a christmas gift for myself, I installed it and updated firmware and got the newest version of PMS and the first time i tried it, it worked with no problems. I was able to clame server and play media on my other devices.

But after that first time it have never worked, I have no ide what I can have done. The error i get is that i cant connect to 192.168.0.19:32400

I use a static Ip
Ive tried downgrade both firmware and PMS, dident work
Ive factory reset NAS and upgrade to newset versions, dident work.

Other programs like Download station is working fine.

Any help would be much appriciated

Since you say you reset your NAS, then make sure you use http and not https to perform the initial claiming.
After that is done, you can use https

Tried both http:// and https://, even tried with different browsers.

If so, it sounds like either PMS is not running, or not bound to the expected IP address.

Download the file, open with like Notepad ++, if on windows, and add the setting. Then copy back up, and restart PMS from the AppCenter

And REMEMBER: BACKUP !

Now we are getting somewhere…

Your PMS is nor listning on pure IPv4, and seems like it’s recieving a call from an IP adress, but that address is NOT on the same IP Net (192.168.0.x)

During initial setup, the workstation doing this MUST be on the same IP Net, so what’s the IP of your workstation?

Sadly not, but do see now you are on Windows…
Open a terminal (Press Windows button, and type CMD)

Then in that, type ipconfig /all and paste the output

Also needs to know, if you installed some kinda firewall on your QNAP?
