I have 2 PMS installations on my home network. Often, when I log in to check the PMS status on the Computer #1, only the PMS status on Computer #2 is shown, and there is no way to access PMS status on Computer #1. Signing out and signing back in has no effect. Only the Plex Media Server on Computer #2 is shown on the left hand side, and it is shown by its name and “nearby”.
When I log in to check the PMS status on Computer #2, it also only lists the PMS on that computer. It is as if there is no PMS running on Computer #1.
I have turned off Setting Sync, and that is not causing this.
Both PMS computers are accessible remotely, and have proper public facing ip addresses.
Yes. And I get the same result when I click “Open Plex” on the PMS icon running in the taskbar.
Clicking “More” just brings up the PMS for the other computer.
When I try to click on any of the Settings (Remote Access, Agents, Library, etc. along the left side of the display) I get “Server settings are unavailable”.
Both PMS servers have unique names. Each has different IP addresses, but I have configured my router to point to their ip addresses
My “missing PMS” is not showing up at all in Authorized Devices.
I don’t know what happened, but I will reinstall and report. It is okay as I just moved all my media to a DAS and my library had to be created anyway, so it will be okay.
