PMS on NVIDIA Shield TV will not start

Server Version#:1.24.0.4930 (smb)
Player Version#:8.21.2.27212

Today I upgraded the PMS to the latest version and now Plex will not start, plus I can no longer see the option to start the server.

Until today the PMS has been running perfectly for at least 18 months.

No network or NAS changes have been made.

I’ve restarted everything, including NVIDIA, NAS & Network switches, but still it will not start or provide me with an option to start.

In addition I can confirm that there is more than sufficient storage space.

Any idea what is causing this problem?

Also I would provide logs, but I do not know how to do this, without the server running.

Same issue. shield plex client cannot connect to the server after pms update.

Today there was an Android System Webview update in the Google store on the Shield. It mentioned bug fixes and speed improvements. When installed everything worked again.

I’ve just tried this and the problem still exists … just to make sure, I also restarted the Nvidia.

When I open Plex and go to settings, under the section “Plex Media Server”, I cannot see the icon which shows the status of the server, so I cannot even attempt to start it.

Also to confirm, the OS version is 8.2.3 [32.6.518.0] with no further updates available.

I wrote/spoke too soon … everything is now working … I just had to be patient … took a few mins and now everything is working correctly.

Please consider this problem closed.
