I bought a Nvidia Shield TV Pro, which arrived today. I have tried to set up the Plex Media Server, but it does not start.
What have I tried:
- With a NAS drive connected, I updated the Plex and Plex Media Server Apps through Google Play.
- I deleted the cache for both apps.
- I uninstalled and reinstalled both apps.
- I disconnected the NAS Drive and reinstalled the applications.
- I reinstalled with a USB drive and NAS connected.
- I reinstalled with only a USB drive connected.
- I reinstalled with NO drives connected.
- I checked application permissions within the Nvidia Settings menu, storage permissions are turned on for both apps, and I’ve given PMS access to NAS.
- I manually deleted all Plex and PMS files from the internal storage (via Windows Explorer) and reinstalled the applications.
- I reinstalled the Plex app, logged in, and then reinstalled PMS with NO drives connected.
